ASL Softball Team Finishes Fifth in UVA Invitational

Grundy, VA (April 9, 2019) – The Appalachian School of Law Softball team finished fifth overall in the recent UVA Invitational Softball tournament in Charlottesville, Va. Their fifth place finish out of 87 teams saw them post five wins over teams from Syracuse (15-8) and (12-2), New York University (10-0), Michigan (19-2) and Boston (10-8). The ASL team made it to the top eight teams in the invitational, before falling short 20 to 10 to a team from William & Mary.
