Ms. Cline received a B.A. in Communications (magna cum laude) from the University of Tennessee in 2011. In 2015, she received her J.D., with a concentration in advocacy and dispute resolution, from the University of Tennessee College of Law. During law school, Cline served as a research editor on the Tennessee Law Review. She also served as a teaching assistant for Legal Process and represented clients as a third-year student attorney in the UT Legal Clinic.
After graduating from law school, Cline clerked for the Honorable Chadwick S. Dotson at the Wise County Circuit Court in Wise, Virginia. She then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth A. McClanahan at the Supreme Court of Virginia. She is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
